Fastest Road Cars in The World!

Midas-Bredasdorp-Fastest-cars

You must admit there is nothing sexier than the purr of a powerful engine, it sounds like testosterone on steroids!

The heady rev of a high-powered motor, the thrill as a supercar zips around a corner, it feels like dopamine on wheels…art in motion.

The Devel Sixteen, is the #1 ranking fastest car in the world for 2021.

The Devel Sixteen is sleeker, has an almost unheard-of amount of power and speed than ever before.

Reaching a top speed of 558,44 km per hour, if you blink you will miss it.

The Devel Sixteen has an incredible 5,007 horsepower, an 81mm Quad Turbo 12.3L V16 engine, and a mystifying ‘inquire for price’!

These stats have left the automotive world intrigued.

Now that we have covered the #1 fastest car in the world, let’s have a look at who takes the second and third place as the fastest cars in the world, and oh how close they are!

The SSC Tuatara – Luxe Digital, is the #2 ranking fastest car in the world for 2021.

This sexy supercar is packed with the latest and greatest in automotive innovations, in October 2021 on a seven-mile stretch of road in Nevada, this supercar reached an amazing 533km per hour.

But don’t get too excited, this car is not quite road-legal, it uses a camera system instead of mirrors to help with steering.

This baby packs a 1750 horsepower, a custom all-alloy flat-plane-crank 5.9-liter twin-turbo V-8 motor, with a whopping R28 368 026,00 ($1.9M) price tag.

The SSC Tuatara boasts an acceleration of 0-100 kilometres per hour (0-60mph) in 2.5 seconds.

The Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut – Luxe Digital, takes #3 ranking fastest car in the world for 2021.

The Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut is manufactured by a Swedish car manufacturer, and was the fastest car in the world for a very long time, reaching an impressive 531km per hour.

The engine was updated from one of their previous popular supercars the Agera RS, investing in a more precise handling, and making this car lighter and more aerodynamic for optimal performance.

But wait there is more!

This car is not only built for speed but pleasure as well, featuring climate control, infotainment, and head/leg room that usually gets looked over when it comes to the fastest car in the world.

What more could you ask for in a car? This one seems to have it all, both luxury and speed!

The race to determine the fastest car of 2021 seems mostly to have been between Bugatti and Hennessey, as these two auto manufacturers are renown for producing incredible pedigree cars packed with raw power, to quench the insatiable need for speed!

I cannot wait to see what 2022 will have on offer for us adrenaline junkies, till next time, petrol heads😉
